Practice of Openness
IndiATA welcomes questions, ideas, feedback, concerns, and opportunities to strengthen our work together. These channels provide clear ways to communicate with chapter leadership without requiring attendance at a meeting, committee participation, or an existing relationship with a Board member.

Share an OpportunityFeedback Practices
- Distinguish feedback from directives, complaints, preferences, and formal governance matters
- Review submissions based on content rather than identity, role, seniority, school affiliation, or social relationship
- Provide an option to communicate without public identification
- Avoid requiring personal disclosure to participate
- Route matters to the appropriate chapter role
- Identify when a matter falls outside IndiATA’s authority
- Communicate when a response is requested and possible
- Look for patterns without treating one submission as representative of the full membership
- Use feedback to inform chapter development without promising every requested change will be adopted
Privacy
Information submitted through these channels is collected for chapter-related review and response. IndiATA should not promise confidentiality or anonymity that its systems cannot guarantee.
When a name or email address is optional, members may submit without providing it. Anonymous submissions can be reviewed and considered, but IndiATA may be unable to investigate, clarify, or respond to a matter without sufficient information.
Information should be shared internally only with those reasonably necessary to review or respond to the submission.
