INDIATA serves as the primary professional association for art therapists in Indiana. Membership is a dual-tiered process requiring an active, corresponding membership with the American Art Therapy Association (AATA).

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: You must hold an active AATA membership to access signup/registration for INDIATA.

INDIATA Membership Tiers

Professional / Credentialed
For individuals who have completed graduate-level education and training in art therapy or hold an ATR. Includes voting rights, office holding, and committee service.

New Professional
For individuals in the early stages of their art therapy career following graduation. Entitled to official publications and meetings. Non-voting tier.

Student
For individuals currently enrolled in courses pursuing a degree in art therapy or a related field. Non-voting tier.

Associate & Affiliate
For contributing organizations, institutions, or individuals who do not meet clinical qualifications. Non-voting tier.

Retired Professional
For previously credentialed or practicing art therapists who are now officially retired from the profession.
